Hi guys! As I’m sure many of you already know, I have been participating in the #Olay28day challenge over the past month. I just finished last week and I am so excited to be sharing my results with you today including some before (rough) and after photos. Transitioning to Fall & Winter is always difficult for my skin because it is accustomed to the humid, hot air that we have during the Summer. My skin always looks best in the summer because it’s so humid- seems backwards to me. I would think I would breakout in the summer from sweating and getting clogged pores but that’s actually not the case. So come Fall, I have to step up my skincare game. The two products I used for the Olay 28 Day challenge are…
Expectations I had for this Olay 28 Day challenge:
- Less acne- I always struggle with acne so I was hoping that the Olay Total Effects moisturizer would not break me out
- Hydrated eyes – I wanted to wake up with less dark circles and with plump, hydrated undereyes
- Brightened and even skin tone – As you will see in the pictures below, I have some scars and hyper pigmentation.
My “before” pictures:
Eek, can’t believe I just shared those! As you can see I have some issues with uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. My definitely have some clogged pores so the texture of my skin isn’t great. I really wanted a product that brightens up my skin and gives it some life. It looks dull and tired in the pictures above.
Right away, I noticed instant results from the Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Cream. My eyes were hydrated and I woke up to a brighter under eye area. I love the way the Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Cream feels when you put it on. You can even keep it in the fridge for a more cooling effect!
My final thoughts on the Olay 28 Day Challenge: I am very impressed with these two Olay products and the effect they had on my skin. The Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Cream is my favorite and I noticed a different day 1 of using it. My eyes look mmore hydrated, my dark circles are lighter and the fine lines in my eye area seem less pronounced. The Olay Total Effects moisturizer has been great as well! I have searched long and short for a moisturizer that has SPF but doesn’t break me out and this one exceeded my expectations. I am going to continue using both of these products and can’t wait to see even better results as time goes on! What I love most about this challenge was how easy it was to complete. I added the Olay Deep Hydrating Eye Cream to my night and morning skincare routine and the Olay Total Effects Moisturizer to my morning routine. I loved that it was one step for both a moisturizer and sunscreen.
