Happy Friday! I posted this picture on Instagram the other day and received a lot of feedback and questions regarding some of the products. I decided to put together this post talking about some of my recent beauty packages and purchases. Let’s jump right into it…!
Amika Texture Spray– I received this in the mail last week. My hair routine was in desperate need of a texture spray- I don’t know why I haven’t used one before. So far, I love this one! It smells amazing and definitely helps my curls last longer because my hair is so fine.
Essie Polish (“Muchi Muchi”)- I picked this up about a month ago and have been wearing it non stop ever since. It’s the perfect Spring pink and I just love it! It does take 3 coats to get it to look right but it lasts for a full week. Definitely my favorite right now!
T3 Micro Blow Dryer– I never thought I would have a blow dryer this expensive haha! But it is definitely worth the price. I have been using it for a couple weeks now and doesn’t even compare to the drugstore one I’ve been using for years. Worth the splurge 😉
Nars Blush (“Bumpy Ride”)- I bought this blush during the Sephora sale. I won’t lie, I’ve always worn drugstore blushes because I didn’t want to spend the money on a more expensive one. Now that I have, I won’t ever go back! I am amazed at the color pay off compared to any other blush I’ve used. This is the prettiest everyday pink and you don’t need much to get a pretty color. I’m hooked! 🙂
Shiseido Sunscreen– I talked about this sunscreen in my beauty faves post last month. I decided to include it again because I just repurchased a new bottle and I actually can’t say enough good things about this stuff. It is the ONLY sunscreen that doesn’t break my face out and it isn’t oily at ALL. You need this in your life! Being in Florida, I have definitely learned the importance of sunscreen. So listen to your mom and dermatologist and use this on your face! 😉
First Aid Beauty Caffeine Wipes– I am not one to use face wipes a lot but I have seen so many people rave about these so I decided they were worth a try. I’ve used them a couple times in the morning in place of washing my face. I definitely don’t think they compare to actually washing your face but they are a good alternative if you are running late or are just headed to the gym.
Drybar Dry Conditioner– I received the dry shampoo and conditioner in a package last week. As far as the dry shampoo goes, it is definitely not worth the money in my opinion. I honestly cannot even stand the smell at ALL and it leaves a white residue in my hair. It does work but I just can’t get over the scent. I will just stick with my favorite holy grail dry shampoo! On the other hand, the dry conditioner is a great product. I apply it to the mid to end of my hair on days that I don’t wash. I also received Drybar’s new whipped dry shampoo but I have yet to try it.
St. Tropez Tanning Kit– I just got this in the mail and am so excited to try it!! I’m planning on using it next week before a photo shoot. I’ll keep ya guys posted 🙂 Although, I know tons of people that use St. Tropez products and absolutely love them so I have high hopes!
Dior Perfume– I got a sample of this with a few hundred Sephora points in my last order. It came in a generous size sample bottle but is difficult to apply with a spray or roller function. I do LOVE it though. It is a very girly, sweet scent and I have received multiple compliments when wearing this one. It also lasts pretty much all day which I have trouble finding in a perfume. I will probably end up purchasing a bigger bottle when I run out of the sample 🙂
Any beauty products you’re loving lately?! I’d love to hear 🙂 Let me know in the comments below.
